It is suitable for a construction of sloping ventilated roofs, both thermal insulated and without thermal insulation, as a waterproofing layer under roof covering. Because of its ability to store moisture, it prevents condensation effect. When used for the construction of thermally insulated roofs, the product requires leaving a ventilation gap of at least 5cm between the membrane and the thermal insulation (mineral wool, glass wool, etc.), which means the membrane cannot touch the thermal insulation directly. The product should not be used for fully-boarded roofs. Installation of the final roof covering on the top of the roofing membrane should always be done using a batten and a counter batten.
